Precious Moments were first introduced in 1978. The figurines were developed from an inspirational greeting card range, that featured teardrop-eyed children drawn by artist Sam Butcher. There was a huge response to the figurines and Precious Moments became one of the most popular and recognized lines of collectibles.
The Precious Moments collection has grown since the “Original 21” released back in 1978. It now ranges over thousands of individual pieces with new introductions being released every year.
